Jamie was our server really friendly was nice to hear him chatting to other customers and being super nice to everyone! & our grill chef was called Sam the food was absolutely perfect!!!!

Jamie and Sam the chef our server ( Stockport ) was a very intuitive guy and did something I’ve always wanted from a steak house, he allowed the chef to decide the best way to cook my steak. Management level service

Just been for a lovely meal, the steak was cooked to perfection by Sam the Grill Chef and our server Jamie was always on hand and kept a close eye to anticipate if we needed anything at any stage and he kept our glasses full- we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be returning!

Our server Alex was amazing she took time to make sure we got what we wanted despite us not actually knowing when we went in. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant.

We were surprised with how great the service was. From entering to leaving the staff were available, chatty, and polite. Alex served us at the table and she was very lovely. So polite, informative and a pleasure to be served by. Food is like a Tobermory / Beefeater and steak expensive for level of expertise in cooking. Service up there.

Felt a bit uneasy, stood in the bar, waiting to check in when other guests were eaten and drinking . Food was absolutely amazing . Nice rooms .

I do love miller and carter not gonna lie but on this occasion I felt let down,service was bad as there was only one waiter in the whole building . Food was good but when getting charged £5 for tap water that took the biscuit.

Had a bad experience the steak wasn’t cook as I ask and had to be sent back. Shown my blue light card and wouldn’t accept because I didn’t have evidence I worked for NHS which I found insulting. I definitely will not be going there again worse Miller and Carter I have been to very disappointed

Great meal for my partners 40th birthday, the food was stunning and the service was excellent, our waiter Louis went above and beyond - really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, he even went the extra mile and brought out a little happy birthday pudding.

Called in for lunch at Heaton Chapel for lunch with my adult daughter.
I had Chicken and Chorizo and my daughter had a burger. Good choice of non alcoholic drinks as we were both driving. Excellent service and food and high standard of decor. The gentleman who served us was smartly dressed and extremely polite. Highly recommended!

Lovely Sunday lunch, we had the Sunday sharing board. It was delicious especially the lamb which melted in your mouth, plenty of food for 2 people.
The staff are lovely and attentive and always checking everything is ok. The staff that were looking after us were Jamie & Sam. Will definitely return 😊

After having a lovely meal here in January we decided to return. What a total different experience. The onion loaf was a total mush of grease that was only slightly cooked on one side. Just the smallest pot of sauce and had to ask for more and the steak was just awful. I have cooked better myself with a steak for the supermarket. To say it was overpriced is an understatement. Safe to say we will not return again. Total disappointment.

Last minute decision to go to Miller & Carter after a trip to the theatre and so glad we did! Our server Jamie was extremely helpful and the steaks were cooked to perfection, thank you Sam! Lovely atmosphere too, will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
